The 17th of November
in the Year of our Lord 2001,during the opening of the IV Caribbean Biennial
of Arts, in the city of Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic; At about
19.00 hours, during the opening ceremony,after happily listening to the Minister
of Culture's endless speech, and being honored with the presence in person
of the President of the Glorious Republic himself, I was awarded , in front
of a frenzied crowd, a gold medal .
